Fun read. I bit religious in a 'literal reading of Noah's Arc' way.

Having read "Indisputable Proof" by the same two authors I decided to have a look at their first book. An intriguing idea about extended life, centred on St. Augustine in Florida and the history of Ponce de Leon, explorer.

Very Imaginative and Action-packed

This tale takes archeology, religion and the supernatural and mixes them together in equal parts to create a barn-burner of a story where immortality, invincibility and great wealth compete with religious stories of Noah and his son Ham, as well as ponce de Leon and the Fountain of Youth. The story takes place primarily in Florida, but also takes a side trip to the Canary Islands where archeologists find amazing and unlocked for discoveries that could change the world.

The characters are wonderful, almost too wonderful. Even though our heroes have some bad habits, you wouldn't consider them grey characters by any means, and the bad guys are truly evil without any doubt. It's the only reason I didn't give it five stars. It still makes this a story where you will cheer for the good guys and boo the villains as they battle over world-shaking discoveries.

Action-packed and a blazing page-turner, I read it in mere hours because it was too compelling to stop. Highly recommended as a thumping good read. And good news, there's a sequel!
