A good book, which talks about minorities in Pakistan. Haroon Khalid has gone into the stories of the people from various minority groups - Hindu, Bah'ai, Zoroastrian, Sikh - and has generally told these tales around the celebration of festivals.

This is an exceptional book, and one that I cannot have any complaint about.

It is a book that definitely needs to be read, and I say this on several levels.
One, it is well written. It is easy to read, and the reader can almost sense the spirituality behind the book. This, in today's times, is remarkable because it is written by a Pakistani, and the man who has done a lot of research on Gurudwaras in Pakistan is another Pakistani. Read the book, and draw lessons from it

Today, the name of Bhai Mardana is largely forgotten, but he was the Muslim who travelled with Nanak and gave tune to his poems. Another lesson for us modern folk.

The Guru Granth Sahib contains the poems of a Sufi saint.

The sheer brilliance of the book casts a luminous light on the ways of Nanak, and this is a great service that Haroon Khalid has done us.

It is indeed marvellous, and is a book that needs to be widely read.
