Although the book is a novel, it also serves as a learning tool for teaching the reader about OCD, obsessive compulsive disorder. The author is the parent of an adult child suffering from multi-aspect OCD and therefore is well-versed in the difficult life of someone with this disorder. The novel is set on the moors of North Yorkshire. John, an OCD sufferer, rescues Sarah from an accidental fall but, instead of taking her to hospital, holds her prisoner in his house. Upon her release, Sarah, after realizing that John suffers from OCD, takes it upon herself to help John. I enjoyed this book very much. It allows the reader to experience the life of an OCD sufferer, while also providing an interesting storyline.… (plus d'informations)
