This attractive volume, which celebrates the heritage of Genghis Khan, accompanied a tour of archaeological treasures from Inner Mongolia across North America between 1994 and 1995 which was organized by the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County. The volume publishes photographs of artifacts and works of art which date from the Paleolithic and the first dynasties of the 3rd and 2nd millennia BC to the Qing Dynasty of the post-medieval era and includes objects representative of the 20th century.
