Freddy and his teddy went out in the rain, was struck by lightening and was transported to an island of Alphabet Monsters. Here Freddy met monster A who had lost his teddy. Freddy and A go through the events of the day to work out where A's teddy might be. Each monster was named a letter of the alphabet and was linked to words that began with that letter.
