I suppose if you are in to Native/Indigenous cookery that this is a good book. I'm thinking it would be great for a school assignment, but this isn't a book that I would cook from.

The ingredients, I wouldn't know where to find most of them.

Photos are nonexistent so there is no idea what anything looks like. Paper is plain off white, print looks like Times New Roman, Title fonts are larger and bold with ingredients lists & instructions in a clear easy to read font. Instructions are numbered and are not to difficult to follow.

Contents include: A word from the author, Introduction, A guide to unusual foods (Prairie Dog?), Beans, Corn, Wheat, Chilies, Meat, Native Greens & Fruits, Gourds, Beverages, Between Meals, Special Information, & Index
