If nothing else with this book you'll get more images of the backbone of the Polish armored force of 1939 then you might have thought existed. As with other MMP publications regarding Polish armor I remain amused by the photos of Polish operations in the lands that had been disputed with Prague, and how they are offered with no editorial comment besides blandly noting their subject.½

Dealing with the initial Vickers machines acquired by Warsaw, the book displays the usual virtues of Stratus publications; an interesting topic, good layout and good pictures. Less good is that some of the English is less than felicitous and there is a presumption that you'll have a certain working knowledge of the times and situations these machines were used in.½
