Carl M. Johnson (1) (1948–)

The church of Christ in Ada ordained Carl as an evangelist in 1970. Since that time, he has traveled across the United States conducting hundreds of gospel meetings and assisting many in obeying the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. He has often presented topics at the annual December study for gospel preachers. He has written a commentary on the Gospel of Mark and collaborated on a commentary on 1 Timothy, both published by Contending for the Faith Publications. He is also an executive editor of the quarterly journal Christian's Expositor, and an editor for the Old Paths Advocate, a journal that has been in existence since 1932. In 2002, he began writing a monthly column for the Old Paths Advocate called "The Back Page."
