Lo and behold it is not a blind date at all but instead someone he has known since childhood waiting to meet and greet him in the pub…someone that has been a thorn in his side for years but not someone he ever thought of as a soul mate. One night of passion, to scratch the itch, does a whole lot more than either of them expected. Whether or not they will be able to come to terms with the events one night brings them is what this story is about.

Another great paranormal shifter novella that is different than others I have read in this genre. I liked Theo and found him a great book boyfriend. It took me longer to warm up to prickly wise cracking Sian, though.

Since Jamie Tyler lost his soul mate three years ago he has been unable to move on. He has felt things for Emma Rivers who works in his office but just cannot seem to break his final ties with Pippa even though she has been gone quite some time. The universe comes to his aid through ‘Match by Mail’, an online dating service his brother successfully used to find a mate. Jamie’s tiger wants Emma and so does Jamie but will they both be able to overcome the loss of Pippa and move on or not?

This is the second book in the Dartmoor Big Cat Brides Series and deals with the paranormal world of big cat shifters. The background is slightly different from other paranormal shifter books in that each of three brothers becomes different types of big cats when they shift and only males of the line are shifters. I liked the fact that family and friendships are important to the men and women in the series AND also enjoyed the idea that the women were strong enough in their own right to bring something to the relationships. I enjoyed both book one and book two of the series and look forward to reading book three soon.

Caiden Tyler is feeling the blues. He is over thirty, a physician and needs a mate to keep his jaguar shifter half happy. His search for a mate continues to be fruitless until his mother suggests trying out an online dating service. When he sees curvy blonde Olivia “Liv” Williams’s profile he knows…as does she when she sees his profile…that there is something special to be explored between them.

This is a fun shape-shifter romance set in England and has two of Caiden’s brothers who will show up in future books of the series. Caden’s family is wonderful, the location is delightful and the series one that I look forward to reading as it evolves. I love shifter books and these big Cat shifters are intriguing. What sounds even more interesting is that each brother is a different species of big cat and that is a first for me reading this genre of book. I am curious to see how that can be ;) Oh…and Caiden is gorgeous in body and spirit and a perfect book boyfriend while Liv is pretty special, too.
