Read it the day I received it, from cover to cover. What memories! I wish I'd kept my Biba clothes, not that I had many... Great admiration for this talented lady; also a lot of sadness. I no longer have the typical Biba shape (haven't had it for nearly 50 years) but I feel I could still wear some of those dresses. Surprised to see that the skirt and blouse I bought in 1969 cost £2 7s 6d each! Also amazed by the number of thefts they suffered in the stores - three leather coats in one go!
The book includes facsimiles of the catalogues, which I had posted on my wall in my Parisian hovel in 1968-69, till a hippy type guy I met asked me if he could borrow them because he liked the photography. I never saw them or him again and have always regretted them (just the catalogues).

One nit-picking comment: the author is careful to point out with [sic] all the mis-placed apostrophes in quoted articles, e.g. Biba's, but did not notice the kerb instead of curb. Tut tut.… (plus d'informations)
