Since I have an interest in both Greek tragedy and tango, I was curious about this modern adaptation of Euripides' Medea. I wasn't disappointed. The text was vivid and evocative. The interactions between Medea and Jason gave me the impression they'd argued passionately before: and probably passionately made it up again, at least, until this final time. Jason's mansplaining had me shaking my head. To a lesser extent, so did Creon's easy assumption that Medea would be compliant. Ah, dramatic irony.

I couldn't appreciate the musical scores at the end (not yet, not until I get a keyboard!), but I liked the fact they were provided.… (plus d'informations)
