Steve Huff

Steven Huff's Blissful and Other Stories contains some interesting, somber tales with enough Western New York references to entertain locals (Huff lives in Rochester, NY). The stories are nice enough, but the real treat is the art by Fawndolyn Valentine. Though she only illustrates four of the stories, her art helps to encapsulate much of what Huff works to create in his prose. Some readers may find this enjoyable, but it's very formulaic at points.
