Sun Hongmao

Dr. Hongmao Sun is a scientist at the National Institutes of Health, Maryland, USA. He received his BSc degree in Chemistry from the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC). He was awarded his first PhD degree by USTC from his study on the structure of high-Tc superconductors using the afficher plus extended X-ray absorption fine structure (EXAFS). He received his second PhD degree in Medicinal and Computational Chemistry from Clark University, where he designed and synthesized ant-herpes drugs by targeting UDG and TK. After studying protein folding in Professor Garland Marshall's group at Washington University, St. Louis, Dr. Sun joined Hoffmann-La Roche, Inc. in Nutley, New Jersey as a computational chemist. afficher moins
