Esther Hisza

I met Esther Hisza in a writing class, which we continued in together for several years. She was an evangelical Christian and I was a Pagan. I wasn’t expecting to be thrilled with her writing.

What I found, and what you will find if you read this book, is that Esther has a good and open heart, one that comes with the courage to reflect on her own assumptions, foibles, and insecurities. She is a good writer, one who can inspire and amuse. Her essays reassure us that we are in safe hands, in compassionate company, and that our own trials will be honoured and never mocked.
