I really wanted to like this, but somehow, it didn't quite measure up. Some editing oddnesses, storyline oddnesses and of course the hero was not very likable. Dom/sub themes are not mentioned, and also not my cup of tea. Not very sexy at all.

Mixed feelings about this one. Good storyline, very bloody. It certainly comes close to eclipsing the romance angle, which means I didn't find it a relaxing or uplifting read at ALL. It left me with negativity, not redemption.

I can only hope the author has her mind on some sort of larger story arc.

Some parts a bit simplistic but overall a good book. Less background than many.
