This is not the usual detective story, but a protagonist cursed with happenstance, assigned to search for a missing painting. The book includes British English dialect, making for an interesting read, along with implied strong language that is soon thrown out the window by the end of the book. The writing is humorous and engaging, but is a heavy read since the story includes long and detailed explanation on art and rat pest control, for example.

In addition, the front cover of the book is very clever.

Thank you to Hidden Gems Books and author.

The book covers reasons why writer's block happens, how to jumpstart the creative process, know what outcomes to feature, and understand how to create plot prompts. The book features prompts based on words beginning with A, B, and C, for example: Acquittal, Bracelet, Complex. Each word has several scenarios to jumpstart a possible story.
