Critiques

Practical instruction by one who is prepared to spin but prefers fly-fishing and with almost lyrical praise gives the Black Pennell its due. Mr. Henzell uses it dry as well as wet and also for dapping. He urges that for the good of the fishing anglers should restrict themselves in the taking of immature sea trout (herling or finnock). He gives detailed advice about fishing Loch Maree and other lochs, including those made famous by Hamish Stuart.
