A well written, concise book that chronicles her daughters near death experience, bringing to life the little things that carry us through hard times. The narrative fluctuates between the Oakland PICU and the years of her daughters illness. It reads as though your watching film. You can see her background in documentary film coming out. I meant to just glimpse at a few pages and ended up finishing the book.
