Cora Harrison was born in County Cork. She taught primary-school children for twenty-five years before moving to Kilfenora, County Clare, to live on a small farm where there used to be an Iron-age fort. Her Drumshee Chronicles are highly successful in Ireland, as are her medieval mysteries for afficher plus adults, including My Lady Judge, which have recently been published for the first time in the UK.
