Courte biographie
I grew up in Minnesota. After graduating from Bethany College of Missions, my wife and I lived in Latin America for about 14 years, involved in bookstore management. Our favorite place, among many, was living in Mexico City and getting to know the people, the foods, and the culture. In the early 90's we moved to Minnesota so I could finish up a business degree. After the two oldest kids graduated from high school we moved to a warmer climate, Phoenix. We're still thawing out and loving the southwest culture. Books have been a very big part of our lives and still are. I'm considering writing some more in the coming year.

This book was written originally as a family history for the Harder and Quiring family trees. In the process of gathering data I discovered that the wealth of information I was coming across was sometimes hard to find and would add depth to the book. Other researchers were looking for the same information and I could save them the 100's of hours that I had spent looking for it if I documented the sources carefully. The result is a book that is 50% about the Mennonite migrations from Prussia, etc. and 50% about the specific families that are noted in the book. Enjoy!… (plus d'informations)
