Inside the Blood was a SUPER FASCINATING book about the blood system in the human body! I really enjoyed the overall look of the book and was not overwhelmed by the presentation. The book had many helpful diagrams and pictures to supplement the reading. I think this book could be read in sections or parts as a whole class with younger grades or as an independent read for upper grade levels. My favorite part of the book was the tiny blurbs with random blood facts, they lead me down many rabbit holes and I spent honestly 20 minutes in a conversation about blood.

This book is an informational picture book about the many different bones that we have in our body. It walks through what each of the bones do for our body, where they are located, and the different terms that go along with that bone. I like this book because not only are the illustrations great, but it also includes activities and crafts to go along with the different bones that are talked about. This book would be good when introducing the human body and looking at the different bones in our body and what they do for us. This is also a great book to have the kids interact throughout the reading as it talks you through different ways to feel the different bones in your body.

Summary: This book is about teaching students different body parts and how they work together. The book is separated into different categories that explain bone types. The text features in this book are amazing!
Thoughts: I really liked this book. It was informative but the visuals made the content digestible. I also like the balance of both diagrams, cartoon images, and real life images. I would use this book to introduce the human body or to teach about informational books.
Use/Strategy:
- Teach what we feel vs what is happening inside our body
- Talk about text features
-Compare and contrast different bones

This book goes into detail about all the different parts of the body--inside the body. It discusses what is going on inside the bones and what each part looks like. The book gives a vivid picture of what each bone looks like and what it does inside the human body.

Possible science topics: parts of the human body

Summary:
This book focuses on explaining all of the types of bones within the human body. It starts by explaining the composition of bones, and then moves into the different types of bones within the body, such as the spine, skull, and joints. Additionally, the book is interspersed with simple experiments that children can do both with and without adult supervision.

Review:
I think this book is an excellent example of a science children's book to have available in the classroom. While the text itself is simple and caters to a younger audience, it does not give up any scientific merit in the process. It also presents more complex scientific ideas in a way that is relatable for younger students. Lastly, the book includes several activities students can work on to help push their scientific inquiry of the human body further.

Genre: informational book
we can find out what goes on every day Inside the Muscles in this book. Detailed illustrations, color photos, and simple text combine to make a fun and easy introduction to how muscles work. This book also includes simple activities and crafts like Terrific Tendon, Muscle Motion and a muscle memory cup game with how-to photos to further engage young learners. Aligned to Common Core Standards and correlated to state standards. I will use it for elementary school students.

It is a really good informational book which includes activities in each part. It is more suitable for intermediate students because it refers to lots of biology terms. The demonstration includes real pictures and illustrations. There are several parts in the whole book. Each part introduces a different kind of bone in the human body. After each part, there will be an activity that either requires students to do the crafts or experiments in order to physically experience how bones construct in our body. It can mostly arouse students' interests. The book can be used in science class, biology class, and literature class.
