Walter Haberland

Amazon claims this book has 46 illustrations. That is a woeful undercount. If you know anything about Taschen, it's all about the photography. And they are exquisite! My only complaint is the smallish format. This material deserves more space.

The book presents only a sample of the vast collection at the National Museum of Munich. We get double page spreads on entire scenes, and many close-ups of individual pieces and clusters of subjects.

So beautiful!
