In memory of my childhood friends who perished in the concentration camps. They were not as lucky as me. To them, I respectfully dedicate this film. (Yora Gross)

The Holocaust will forever leave a lasting effect of grief and horror on the human experience. The awesome power these Nazi perpetrators wielded on their helpless victims in the mass murder and callous slaughter of human beings is a heavy feeling that is not easy to watch. Yet, it is important we do not let those horrors fade away from our minds, or we might just unintentionally allow history to repeat itself. Therefore, I say… don't forget. (fonte: Yoram Gross)

Uno sguardo impressionistico sulla vita di un eminente creatore dell'animazione, Yoram Gross, questo cortometraggio presenta fasi consecutive del suo percorso come artista: infanzia spensierata, il dramma della seconda guerra mondiale, la fortunata sopravvivenza dell'Olocausto e la sua vita dopo la guerra . Il tema principale è la musica di Modest Musorgski, che ha accompagnato Gross per tutta la sua vita.

Dedicato dal regista alla madre, che soffrì e venne deportata ad Auschwitz Birkenau e Ravensbruck, il cartoon è una considerazione del regista sul dovere della memoria.
