A very nice coffee table book about the development of the largest department store in the United States. The widespread pictures are done in sepia print, which leaves a nice aura for this book. Department stores have not done well in U.S. in the last 40 years, with most now closed. Macy's is perhaps the grandest exception, and it is nice to have a celebration of this emporium.
