Since I couldn't finish & I didn't get far enough to give a proper review.
A bit to wordy and boring. Like a kids fairy tale with way to much unnecessary thoughts and dialog about nothing important & from the little I read there were some editing errors.
Anyway, DNF'd at 27%, page 77.

Shows promise. Nice little snippet of both Ms. Glenn's writing and this series.
I found a few minor typos where there was a missing word.
The sex scene was good but not great.
New concept in some ways of wolf shifters.
The last quarter of this is used to give us the 1st chapter of bk#1 'Night Revelations' where their story continues. In truth, it should have been used to build a better connection to the mc's and world build.
The way this is setup, it might have read better after reading book #1. I suspect I would have cared about the characters more that way.
I'll get around to reading the next in the series soon. I already have the book.
