This book has ten different multicultural plays from Ghana, China, and Italy. I like the diversity shown in the plays and how it differs from American plays.
This book has neat plays emphasizing cultural beauty for grades k-3. I'm hoping to incorporate one into a lesson on diversity. Diversity is hugely important so children understand how we are different while sharing commonalities.

Personal reaction: this is a good resource that many teachers could use in their classroom. I loved doing plays in elementary and even older grades. I am more of a hands on learner so I learn a lot more when I am doing something. Plays are a way I could get a better understanding of what we were learning in the class.
Classroom extensions: 1. Number students 1-5 then the students can break into their groups and find a play they like.
2. Have the students pick who is the actors in the play and have them perform during class.
