Review: This is a book that has a ton of poems all by Kristine George about her Little Dog. Each poem is short and sweet but to the point. She does not go into much detail but gives enough to describe what she and Little Dog are doing at the time.
Critique: This is a good poetry book because it shows kids how to write a simple short piece of writing that can be poetry. This is also good poetry because the poems are about a girl and a dog and what they are doing, which can happen in real life.
