This book is like a conversation between the reader who is a complete novice at amateur astronomy and observing; and an enthusiastic astronomy club member, giving advice about telescopes, places to observe, what to observe, and more. It is a very informal approach to informing interested people what type of amateur astronomy and gear they might best be happiest with in the long run. No photos, just conversation type information.
