This 1953 rhyme book shows all the different daddies. These daddies work in all different types of careers, from working in factories, farming, and even working in department stores. At the end of the book, daddies reassure their children that as soon as the workday is over, that they return home to be with their families; especially their children. This is a very good book, however, today many daddies also stay home to take care of the children while the mommy goes to work. Classroom extension; students will understand and appreciate differences between families and will perform role-plays for other classes throughout the school.
