The AASL blog is the official web log of the American Association of School Libraries. The posts cover a range of topics related to school library media centers and teacher librarians. The topics concentrate on summarizing and describing recent conferences, meetings, or events in the school library media community. The blog is updated relatively infrequently in comparison to other professional blogs with approximately five to seven posts made a month. This professional resource is strongly recommended to librarians and teacher librarians who work in isolated environments or seek deeper connections to the professional community.
