Being a collection of contributed papers concerning topics in the state of Georgia during the War of the Rebellion. As usual in reviewing contributed papers, one can cut and paste that the quality varies. Most of the topics are very well thought out, but at least one, criticizing Jos. P. Johnston's generalship during the Atlanta campaign, is too broad, and the last two are too tangential, dealing with war widows' pensions and covering chronological ground up to the 1950's. Most of the papers, however small their topics, are decent reading and all will be of use to researchers.… (plus d'informations)
