A writers guide in narrative format, this book provides several digestible techniques to use in writing ones own life story. The writing was a bit drab and the stories dull, but the subjects used as examples were very diverse and not written just for upper-middle class children, as many of these how-to-write books can be. But geez, the guy starts off the book talking about how much he liked the smell of his dad's bathrobe as a child.
