Historical romance ,mystery done so well. Lily is a wonderful character full of purpose , honor and determination. The couple we get to find out about Lucy and Edward are a very worthy and so deserving of their HEA. This author handled the retelling of their story from various sources with success and gave us a lesson of the Boer War which is heartbreaking. I highly recommend this book and author who I am snapping up her books on kindle unlimited, have not been disappointed.
