Merle Feld

A memoir with poetry by a woman on the front lines of Jewish feminism. I've met some of the people she talks about and can relate to many of the events in her life. Her poetry is understandable. Occasionally the conclusion feels a bit random, but I recognize the feelings and she expresses them well. This edition is revised to include a new chapter about her connections to Project Kesher and her meeting with Jewish women in the Former Soviet Union (FSU).
