It was a really interesting read as this place, time, and culture is not something I typically read a lot about nor know a lot about. I am looking forward to finishing the story in the next book White as Bone, Red as Blood: The Storm God.

This book didn't captivate me as much as the first (White as Bone, Red as Blood: The Fox Sorceress). There was a lot of action in this book but it just didn't pull me in as much for some reason. The ending, though sad, was the part that pulled me in the most.
