Joe Exotic

If you watched both Netflix Documentaries are are curious for more, this memoir is for you! I honestly think it is good to hear all sides of a narrative (See the Ted Talk about the dangers of a single story to learn more) and was totally open and interested in reading this.

Some of the science is sketchy, some of the stories you might want to take with a grain of salt, but my opinions were changed and more nuanced about the whole situation after reading. Joe has been through some trauma, and I understand him more as an individual now, even if my opinion about not keeping tigers in a small cage never changed (not my cup of tea- Apex predators need SPACE AND WILD!).

Wasn't long, took about 4 and a half hours to read, so if you can sit through the documentary, this isn't much longer :)… (plus d'informations)
