This book kept me intrigued and on the edge of my seat the entire way through. I love the main characters so much, and the supporting characters have such depth! I love that there will be more to this story in future novels, but I also love that it can be read as a stand alone and still seems complete, you're not left hanging to the point where you think you will BURST if the next book doesn't release tomorrow. I would definitely recommend this book to any fans of the dystopian genre, those who liked The Hunger Games, The Maze Runner, and those types of books. After reading Zoo, I will be looking for Tara Elizabeth's other novel.… (plus d'informations)

I finished Exalted this morning and I have to say that I am SOOOO glad to have book 2 waiting for me. This book drew me in from page one. Following Mena through her training, seeing how she views her "friends" and "enemies" both before and after "the Pump" is very intriguing. The Third Trial ended up going much differently than I though it would. There are twists and surprises, there are ups and many downs. It's everything you want from a dystopian piece. Tara Elizabeth has made a lifelong fan in me!… (plus d'informations)

"My nausea increases with each word that venomously drips from his forked tongue."

This is an example of the amazing symbolism and imagery you will find yourself engulfed in when you read these books. Ms. Elizabeth has once again drawn me in from word one and kept me fully enthralled until the very last page. I am very anxious for book three, because while there is a certain amount of closure in book two, we are still definitely left hanging and wanting more! This time, we get to see even more of a change in Mena as she grows and understands how corrupt the government is. We see her make more friends now that she has the emotions to do so. We see her struggle with whom to trust and doubt herself many times. I felt a lot of empathy for her as I read. I loved getting to know Val a bit more and seeing the changes in Ethan. While I know she's working hard, I can't help but hope that Tara Elizabeth is quick with the release of book three!… (plus d'informations)

United was everything I've come to expect and love about a Tara Elizabeth novel. I would love to go back and re-read the entire trilogy back to back however, as I was a bit rusty and had to go back to book 2 and remind myself what was going on. It's the last book in a dystopian trilogy so of course the epic battle must take place. I was so saddened by the losses, but impressed with the strength of most of the main characters. I would love to see perhaps a spin off that delves into Ethan's life post Exalted. If you're a fan of dystopian, a fan of Ms. Elizabeth, or a fan of this series, you must read this book. If you are a fan of dystopian at all and haven't read the first two, I would encourage you to pick them up and give all three a read, you won't be disappointed.… (plus d'informations)
