Deanna Edens

I enjoyed this book. I believe it was well researched and well written. I loved the references given at the end. This book reminded me of the storytelling I have heard my whole life. It was just like sitting out on the porch listening to my kin tell stories of things they witnessed, heard or were passed down. I often think of stories that may be lost over time and it makes me sad. The history of Appalachia is rich and fascinating. I love coming across these fiction based on nonfiction stories. This was my first time reading a book by Deanna Edens but it won’t be my last.… (plus d'informations)
