Are you considering going into one of the “helping professions”—psychology, counseling, social work, etc.? This book provides practical as well as holistic tips for getting through grad school; interacting well with others; addressing your own needs and problems as well as those of others; and, of course, finding a job at the end of it all. Each section is supplemented with short but inspiring stories from real people in the helping professions.
