In 1941, a RAF Anson surprised a surfacing German submarine off the coast of Iceland. His bombs disabled the sub and he kept it under observation until the navy arrived to capture it. The British Navy repaired it and used it to sink German U-Boats.

The book also describes what happened to the German officers who allowed their vessel to be captured intact.

This volume reads like a novel but the adventure is true. The author served as an officer in British subs during WW II.
