In Pistols for Two, Breakfast for One, Matthew J. Dick expertly weaves a tale that is at once side-splitting humour, heroic adventure, romance and mayhem, all told with aplomb and tongue-in-cheek wit. Mafia madmen, beautiful women and seemingly inescapable obstacles cannot stop our hero, Hugo Hammersley. Playboy, gambler, escape artist, he manages to save the day (and one or two steamy nights) with nary a wrinkle in his Turnbull and Asser jacket. I found this a thoroughly enjoyable read, perfectly paced, full of atmosphere and intrigue and ultimately laugh-out-loud funny. I recommend it heartily.… (plus d'informations)
