The end of the world is coming and all people seem to do is argue. Tornadoes threaten what little is left after the floodwater rose. After a lot of bickering, the story ends, abruptly. There are many interesting ideas presented in the novel. The pace and characters need additional work.

Apocalyptic tale of the world being flooded and the last few humans having to learn faith in God that they will survive. Sammuels character was very whiney and juvenil for someon who had to grow up in this atmosphere and would have like to get to know the characters a little netter. not Great, but not bad.

I have won this book through the member giveaway program and was very excited to start reading the book. In the end I gave up after 60% of the book because I was utterly bored.
The concept of the story was actually brilliant, a coming armagedon packed into a modern Noah's ark story. However, I did not like the main character as other readers mentioned before because he was whiney, selfish, immature and just ridicilous. On top of that, there was no flow to the story and the story appeared most times disconnected and therefore made no sense. Sometimes I went back a few pages just to make sure that I did not miss anything, which was not the case.
In the end I just could not be bothered finishing it.
Also I would like to say again that I still feel that the concept of the story is great.

I won this e-book in a LibraryThing Member Giveaway.
I'm not sure what to say about this book, I didn't really care for it. The main character Samuel was way too whiney, he was just horrible. The other characters & the story line just didn't seem to flow together very well. I didn't understand what was going on most the time. Then the way the book just ended without even explaining why Samuel is supposed to be an important part of the story. It was all just a very disappointing read for me.… (plus d'informations)
