Cette critique a été écrite dans le cadre des Critiques en avant-première de LibraryThing.This was a fun middle grade book. It blends classic fairytale elements with the 'laws' of this magic kingdom. I specifically liked how the way Vlad deals with the law resemble the way children deal with the rules adults make. Having to talk to adults about things that aren't allowed does make children feel like they are in a courtroom, so this fantasy feels very realistic in that way.

An inventive story about a spunky princess. A great deal of magical details and a lot of humour. A really fun an inventive read.
