Fans of prophecy and fiction mixed with history and modern context will love Something Coming. This thrilling novel about the Second Coming of a controversial Classical-era king named Antiochus Epiphanes will give you a lot of think about: Could a great ruler from the past come again? Could the world be deceived to follow an Antichrist? What is the nature of evil and how does it manifest in the modern world?

While absorbing readers in a fascinating story populated by rich and detailed characters, Something Coming is also an education in a wide variety of beliefs related to the Second Coming. King Antiochus presents himself as the culmination of all beliefs, feeding off the collective energy to engineer his rise to power. We learn who he was: an ambitious king, brilliant and arrogant but also visionary and quite possibly the one person who could unite the world. And we learn who he is now: even more brilliant, reviled by the Jews and some Christians as an Antichrist, and ready after 2,100 years to live again. Working through a New Age version of John the Baptist, he brings the world together behind his version of world peace. But his old enemies remember who he was, and in opposing him, push the world to the brink of Armageddon. And that only scratches the surface of what this novel is about.

At a little over 500 pages and with a story spanning two years, Something Coming will keep you entertained for many days and nights. It is the best novel about the Second Coming on the market, and the author, J.M. DeBord, is a great new talent on the literary scene.
