Every so often I encounter a book that does not fall into my preferred genre or style of books, and when I discover such a gem, I am delighted. Such is Assignment Marriage by Jodi Dawson. This delightful Romance entails the Romance between a bed and breakfast owner, Kat Bennett, and a Daniel West, an investigator, and the two fall in lust (and/or love) and clash over the usual series of events. In Assignment Marriage, the events are even more eccentric and unique, much like the author, Ms. Dawson.
I hear the deleted honey scenes would have booted this book out of Harlequin’s Romance series. Too bad, as I would have enjoyed them even more….
