This Horror Collection brings together two of my novels, Welcome Home & Raised In Evil. In Welcome Home we follow a serial killer butchering his way through Cheshire, England, while a young wife moves into a new home directly in his path. But she has a past she cannot remember, and it might just involve the very killer approaching her. In Raised In Evil we follow a young man being drawn to a black magic cult where he will be used to give flesh to a demon. Ritual murder, a defrocked priest returned from the dead and untapped supernatural powers combine in a brutal story of horror and demonic power. I hope you enjoy these two books for the price of one. Thank you.… (plus d'informations)

This review is by Marilyn Thompson and is taken from the book's amazon.com page.

In Welcome Home Neil Davies creates a terrifying portrait of evil injecting images into your mind that wont be easily forgotten.

Victoria is a woman with an unknown past, and when that past begins to return to her it returns in a complete and shockingly evil revelation. After waking in the hospital with no memories of her Victoria eventually settles into a comfortable life, She and her husband Simon move to a small village where Victoria finds her dream home. Soon, however the village is the hunting ground of a serial killer. A killer who has a connection to the mystery of Victoria's past.

I found this book to be more than a read, it was an obsession. I could not stop reading until I reached the last word. I highly recommend this book to anyone who likes well written crime fiction.

Hard Winter: The Novel by Neil Davies is set in a fictional post apocalyptic future. Centered on the experiences of one very damaged human, the author takes the reader on a journey of hardship, loss and transformation. The story line is quite believable and the finale satisfying. It took a few chapters to connect but moved swiftly as the characters evolved and began to interact.

A fun read for a wintry weekend.

A serial-killer thriller with a wonderful twist and a bit of the supernatural.

Victoria is trying to figure out who she is, though she can not remember her past. After waking up in the hospital with an array of nasty injuries, the only thing she can remember is the name Victoria. Now married and trying to build a normal life for herself, Victoria and her husband Simon have settled down in the quaint town of Taupington and are fixing up a Victorian style house, that Victoria is inexplicably drawn to. Meanwhile, a sadistic serial killer has also come to town and has decided to stay in order to make Victoria's new neighbor his latest victim.

This thriller grabbed me from the start and I had to finish it the same day. Switching point of view from Victoria and the serial killer made a great build to the unexpected relationship that they have. While the scenes with the serial killer were very graphic, they were not overdone and seemed as true to life as I could imagine. The added element of the supernatural was very interesting and I wish it was explored just a bit more.

This book was received for free in return for an honest review.
