Many can dispute a theory but none can dispute another’s personal testimony. This is a work compiled over a period of ten years as the writer contemplated and journaled his study of what God says about Love which is the only true standard of Love.
Throughout the book the author includes his notes and letters to his future wife which grow deeper as his knowledge of God’s Love increases. It is an unfolding work sectioned and focused on very specific aspects of love and firmly supported with biblical references; some included, some cited. Keep your bible handy when reading (always a good sign of a great book).
The concepts and expositions of these aspects of Love are uncompromising (refreshing to be sure). Many modern thoughts on love that are generally accepted today are acutely disputed and revealed as deceptions that can result in disastrous consequences.
Great attention is given to Love as described in book of “Song of Solomon”: it is intimate and holy, God honoring and God ordained only within the bounds of marriage. Romance and relationship issues are also discussed in reference to the book of ‘Song of Solomon’.
