This was an amazing retelling of beauty and the beast. I love the way the beast is described and how true he is to himself. It is a quick read, short story. Perfect story to read before bed. If you like fairytales or princess with dark aspects then this is for you. 18 , viewer discretion. Please read the trigger warnings before reading. It is dark for reasons.

First, I love the characters. They're down to earth, real, and I could totally see bumping into them just walking down the street. The pacing was great, and I have to warn you, you're going to want to read it cover to cover as soon as you start. Normally when you see fated mates, it's shifters, and I enjoyed the vampire take on it. There isn't a lot of backstory, but I didn't mind at all. If you're looking for a fast-paced, heart racing, vampire romance, you've found your next read!
