Don't read this book for great literature, but do read it to learn about the job of a top Association Football manager. This book is packed with Brendan Rodgers footballing philosophy and, as a Leicester City supporter, essential reading.

It always helps to understand the intricacies of a man who is likely to be a hero one minute and a villain the next.

The author decides that he isn't reading enough and feels guilty about all his unread books (don't we all!) and so he makes 2013 his year of falling in love with literature. In this book he chronicles every book he reads during the year. I read this short book within a day and really enjoyed it. I had read some of the books that he writes about, others have now been added to my Amazon wish list (dangerous!). I think what really came through in this book is the author's love of books and that's something that a fellow book-lover appreciates. A good, short read.… (plus d'informations)

Do not read this book if you have no interest in obscure populist Scottish literature, pop music of minimal standards, or football. You will feel that your time has been wasted.
