Patrick Crampton

As a World Heritage site, Stonehenge, in all its mystery and glory, is known mainly as ritual site for a Bronze Age society, but Crampton through much research theorizes that Stonehenge was the headquarters of a warrior society and gives convincing justifications for same. He humanizes these static ritualistic stones by showing the human interrelationships of these people of the Salisbury Plain with other places, Ireland, Wales, Scotland, Western Europe and even Greece.
